I personally like the Sailfin and with those two tangs would give you sliver, gold/yellow, and purple swim action! Even if added when small, fish of the same genus can become territorial over time. An ounce of prevention is like...

Chetrod, IMHO all new fish should have a 3-5 minute freshwater dip and be added to a Quarentine tank for 2 weeks before you place them in your tank to prevent an out break of disease that they may silently be harboring. I'm of the opinion that all LFS tanks have some type of diease in their systems, especially Ich. This will save you alot of heartache some day. Check out www.wetwebmedia.com on dips, baths and quarentine. Also check out the FAQ section and read the countless stories of people contaminating their tanks with disease and losing all their live stock.

A ten gallon tank should do the trick then right with a piece of live rock and some king of water movement powerhead or Ho filter. Thanks for the web site good info in there. I did have some issues in my the other house when adding fish with them getting ich. I was always told that it was caused by nervousness. From other fish attacking it.

I would try to use something like a 20g long tank for quarentine. The larger tank the better. I dont use live rock. Keep the tank bare and use a couple of big pieces of PVC pipe for cover and then a power filter or power head and do daliy or every other day water changes to keep nitrites and ammonia down. The bigger the tank the better. I use a 30g long.
Stress can bring out ich but only because its already in the tank and dormant
or the new fish already have it and are able to fight it off until they get stressed. I had an ich problem in my 120 and had to treat the tank with sea chems copper and every now and then my blue tang gets a few spots and scratches and then a day later he is fine. Healthy fish can fight it off.
