Hi guys i have a 75g display, and I may have jumped the wrasse gun and got my mystery wrasse too early. I got my mystery wrasse just before christmas... couldn't pass it up $60 at my LFS and was healthy as a horse! but I want to add another wrasse into the tank, so far i only have a little naso which i know will get too big later.. but i am never happy and am likely going to get a larger setup. anyways... would introducing a green coris or something else be a terrible idea with the mystery?

I agree with Vinny here. Their genus is known to be quite aggressive with any newcomers once established.

You've pretty much excluded the possibility of adding ANY additional wrasses with a mystery in that size tank I'm afraid.

You will also wish to pass on adding any shrimps to your tank, as they'll be expensive mystery food.

Your odds are better if the shrimp are in the tank first, then adding the fish. However fish being fish, if it can fit in the mouth, they'll eat it. And then you've got the fish that if it won't fit into their mouths, they will smash it up to make it fit! (Wrasses, Triggers and a few other families)

This is SO true!! the whole game changes when you actually figure out what fish will work in your set up then with each other then with inverts and on and on.....there are always still great fish out there that aren't mean :)
