As of right now my system is run off of a sump with 25-30gs of water, the sump is all 1 chamber (rubbermade tote 55g). This houses my heaters skimmer and return pump. Works great for this but no place for a fuge, there are no baffels and there is like 500-600gph flow threw it.
So I got from a local reefer an acrylic box with baffels and sections (used). I have drilled a hole where i want it to drain for good flow. My plan is to use a small pump to pump water into fuge and have a 1 inch drain hole on other side to drain back into sump. This will create low flow seprate from the rest of my system. I think im going to aim for like 10gph threw it. I was thinkin of runnin a Remote DSB but im not sure if i need it. i have low bio load, any input on this would be great.

Try it out. I'm using a 65w full spectrum flood light bulb in a $8 Walmart auto drop light.

Looks like a good set up. Is your DT on the other side of that wall?

I have a very similar set up and I just use a Odyssea 250gph PH with a flow control. i know alot of people knock Odyssea lights and other things, but I have 7 PH from them for over 2 years without 1 failure. BTW you wont get 250gph with that length of hose, so you wont have to shut it down much.
