Not sure that I know who he is... I assume he's the Yoda of aquarium keeping(?)

Where did you hear this about the Harlequin from? My 'Tusk is pretty aggressive, especially when it comes to anything smaller than him.

I have had or have most of the fish you have on your list in my 180 tank, with just a few exceptions. Some comments for you:

    - Bluethroat trigger: pretty docile by trigger standards. If you're not keeping a reef, i would suggest something else instead.

    - Harlequin tusk: good choice, but don't keep anything smaller than him in the tank or he'll harass them endlessly.

    - Emperor Angel: Would be okay as a juvenile, but once it reaches adult age, it can/will outrgow your tank (as you stated)

    - Niger Trigger: One of my new favorites. Grow pretty big quickly so watch out. Mines pretty docile but YMMV.

    - Yellowtail Damsel: IMHO, get something larger like a Domino if you want a Damsel. It's pretty small. If you wanted it due to coloration, go for a larger fiji blue devil instead, but YMMV living with a Harlequin.

    - Maroon Clown: Can actually be pretty tame in an agressive tank. Make sure you get a big one off the bat (5"+) so he doesn't get too stressed out.

    - Picasso Trigger: Pretty tame fish imho. I would get the Niger instead based on my experiences.
