I posted my way of dealing with the aipastia in my build thread, but I wanted to start a thread for those trying to deal this stuff.
A few weeks ago, I purchased 4 berghia nudibranches to wage war against the Aipastia. Soon as I put them in the pretty much disappeared, seeing them only once at night. These little creatures only feast on aipastia and do a great job at dealing with them. The numbers of aipastia was slowing disappearing, but they were reproducing faster than these guys could eat them. Then the end of last week I noticed a ton gone and today was the first day I saw the 2nd generation of them.
If your thinking of getting them, do it! If they survive they are the only 100% way of dealing with aipastia.
Here a few pictures of them (babies). My adults are about 1/2 inch long.

TONS? You been locking yourself in the toilet reading too many girlie books instead of watching your tank.

Yeah, I paid 36 for 4 plus the shipping, so it came out to be like 70 bucks for 4 little things that disappear soon as you put them in.
O well Their doing their job now. ;D

We should do a group buy from SaltyUnderground (sponsor). I've bought from Lisa over the years & they are straight!! The more we buy, the more the price goes down, offsetting shipping costs.

Berghia are pretty much a guarantee that your tank will be aiptasia free. Only thing, you can't guarantee aiptasia won't hitch-hike on rocks or any new corals coming in. I usually get an aiptasia problem with a new tank setup......anyway, I'm in if anyone else wants to give it a shot!!

I've read about 4 or 5 different members with aiptasia problems this week alone.

The only problem with these is they will starve to death once the aiptasia are gone....so are they easy to catch? To give to someone else that can use them.

You would have to tear everything apart to find them and still might not find them. I rarely ever see them.
