Aiptasia in My Fuge

I've got a bunch of Aiptasia growing in my fuge. Right now my main tank is clear of it, but I'm worried that some may make it from the fuge to the main tank. Should I do anything about it or let it grow in the fuge?

 

Get rid of them, if they germinate then you will have problems. Get some boiling water or heavy kalk solution and blast those suckers with syringes or turkey basters.

 

Or aptasia x works very good...

 

Anything very acidic will work. I had one little one (which was the only one I have ever had) so I just used boiling water and some vinegar, killed the beast on contact. It let go of the rock and I scooped it up with a net and let it dry out and tossed it in the trash can.

 

ive been told joe's juice works good. I also have been told to inject it with vinager.. hope all these ways help u.

 

I wouldn't spazz over it There was a time when I used aiptasia in my refugium on purpose.

Aptasia X does work great. Just remember to turn all your pumps off for a few minutes before you use it.
