Airline

If i have a airline with airstone in the tank will this be sufficient to not only aerate the water but to rid the surface of the film, currently i have a koralia 2 faceing the surface but if the airline worked i coud put the powerhead to better use? eg flow behind rocks maybe?

 

The only way to get rid of the "film" is by surface skimming and by looking at your pic, you dont have an corner flow or a overflow box. Luna

 

no i don't, i could buy a surface skimmer that attaches to the outake pipe?

 

What is your set up exactly? Do you have a sump, refugium, W/D or something else. If you could take a pic of your set up, that would be great. Luna

Yeah thats it, i have a external cannister filter xp2 + l/r, that surface skimmer in the pic is what i have been looking at, they any good?

 

I dont have any exp. with those, never had the need for one. Sorry Luna
