    Use an algae scraper/scrubber.

How long are you running your lights? When I was running my lights too much I had film algae. There is only one plus to the film algae. When you scrape it off, you are feeding your pod population.

I have recently got some algae that is tough and does not come off with a scrubber. I used a razor blade and was very, very careful. You do not want to scratch the glass or screw up the silicone on the corners. I almost did that. It would have been a bad thing.
