Algae problem

How old are your bulbs? When bulbs get old you can have algae problems. If you are using media in bags they will build up detritus as well which will also cause algae problems. If you are using tap water you will get algae problems or if your R/O D/I water filters are bad you will have algae problems. Do you use a powerhead to blow stuff off of your rocks before water changes? If detritus builds up on your rocks you will have algae problems. You have a serious algae problem there that won't be resolved by sticking bags of various filter media in the filter compartments.
