How old is the tank? If its a new tank, its just part of the process, your going to go through a few algae cycles. When it comes to algae, you generally need to watch 2 major things: feeding and flow. The phosphate remover will help, but it wont eliminate your problem entirely unless you find the root problem. Also, the fuge will definately help.

The tank is two monthes old and there are no fish yet. I bought a bunch of snails but alot of them died when our power went out for a few days. i have two k3's and a g00 gph return pump.

If I am looking at that correctly - it looks like Bryopsis--If it is only on the one rock, get that rock out and bleach it. Bryopsis is nasty and can be very difficult to erradicate.

power outage, dead livestock, and now algae, I'm betting you're pretty frustrated right about now. Hang in there though, with what you've told us, and the age of your tank, the algae blooms aren't surprising. Replacing the snails will help. I'd also be looking for my first fish! :)

You should also consider a generator, or some sort of system for powering your tank's pumps and lights in the event of a power failure.

    good luck!

We have a generator but it was the 9-10 hours it was off at night that affected the tank. If it is bryopsis i want to be sure that is is cause it supports my whole structure. Also how should i bleach it.

I usually do a 50/50 mix.your basically nuking the rock. You are defiantly going to want to stop it there isn't to much as far as a clean up crew that will eat Bryopsis.
