    my ammonia is 2.0 ppm !!!!!!!!!!!! what can i do? its cycling right now and the ammonia spiked a 2.0ppm any way to end this cycle faster?

    If it is cycling, just let it ride. Dont try to rush things, let it take care of itself! NO WATER CHANGES!!

    Your ammonia will spike with a cycle. Thats what the cycle is. Next, it will start to drop as nitrites come up. Then those will start to drop as nitrates come up, etc etc. There is nothing that will speed it up, nor should you try to do anything either. It typically last anywhere from 4 -12 weeks, thats just the way it is

    I told you in the pm that you couldn't anything about it. If you can get the two clowns out, if not there is a good chance they won't survive the cycle. You need to slow down and do your research before adding livestock to an uncycled tank.

    if no live stock dont worry just forget about the tank for awhile. this is a take your time hobby

    ok just making shure cuz some people told me to do water changes but im good now. thanks guys im gonna return the clowns and wait. =] more time to study about it =] (seems like i need a lot)

    poor old clown fish there going back 2 maro and i need to know what is the best fish to cycle a tank with i want to hear every one opinion

    you already have ammonia you dont need to cycle with a fish
