Amount of Powerheads

Just wondering if someone can give me an idea of what size and how many Koralia powerheads I will need for my 300g tank......running as a FOWLR. Main pump puts out 1650GPH at the height I have the tank.

i would get like another koralia or something powerfull....at least the same as that 1650 FOWLER and i think maybe another one of something a lil weeker but with all that flow and power you mite need to in the future get a wavemaker system

 

..If ya do not have any corals...that may require flow...I do not think its a big deal..but 300 gallons would need at least another Korilla model 3 or 4... maybe two of them...the water needs to move...and if your fish are like mine..they love to get in the current and play. ! : ) JMO

There will be no coral, just some Coraline algae. So, 1 or 2 Korilla #3 or 4 will work for this tank?

Should I aim one behind the LR and the other to the front of the tank?

 

I'd get 2 Vortech MP40's for a tank that size or drill it for an internal circulation system with a high volume pump like 6,000 GPH or more .If you want to have a reef tank ? Fish only a couple of the # Koralias 7's will do you
