We bought some live rock at a great price. The guy had some anemonies growing well. Can anyone help us identify. They are very large...softball size at least. They have a very unique white star shaping around their mouth. The base is a brilliant pinkish purple. The tentacles are very long and sometimes resemble a bubble tip. Thank You.

I think it looks like a long tenticle... Has it opened all the way?

Yes. It is very beautiful. I was worried it might be a tulip anemone. I cant find any pictures or any info of them getting this big though. This is a big relief. We are watching it split into a second anemone.

I know its been a while on this, but we have a TON of these anemones. They divide and spread. Has anyone ever had this happen? Im still wondering if there is an exact well-agreed upon ID also.
