I added a white purple tip anemone to my tank 2 days ago and it's not looking too good today. My clown fish haven't taken to it yet. I've been feeding it brine shrimp. I read somewhere that I should get a crab to help it survive. Not sure what kind or if it's even a good idea. Please help!:-/

When you say that it isn't looking too good what do you mean? What are you parameters? And you probably need to give it some more time to properly adjust to it's new environment. Pics always help as well.

When I got home at 5:00 it was laying flat and looked like it was shrinking.
Tank lights had been on 3 hours

They do change size when open to closed mine turn upside down sometimes, just give it a week to acclimate to the tank, some ppl use anemone crabs but most like me use clowns,it takes time sometimes for them to except host just depends on stress level and it's temperament

how new is your tank? what are your parameters? what lighting is it under? how old are the bulb's on your tank? there are a lot of things that could be affecting it. My nems have always hid for 5-9 days after i put them into a new tank. they could just be stressed from the new environment. I have also noticed that my nems usually wont take food for a while after i move them they get stressed.
