anemone Question .

The other day at my LFS, they had 2 or 3 long tentacle anemones, and a few bubble tip anemones in the same tank. Some was huddled up together, and some was by themselves.
Is it safe to have more than one anemone per tank

 

Short answer is yes... the better question is "is your tanks safe for Anemones?"

 

I would think so, all I have is a cinnamon clownfish, dunkin, and some snails
I already have a LTA, but I like nems so much I wanted to know if I could get more.
I read online the nems will fight unless they where clones. Thin I saw the nem tank at my LFS, so I wanted to get a definate answer.


P.S. its in a 10 gal. my light is a t-5 ho two 24 Watt bulbs =one is 10,000k the other is blue (I forgot what its called)

 

I would say that you should not have more than one anemone in a 10 gallon tank. I'm not even sure if I would even put one in there.

 

Thinks for your help. I have another anemone question. I want to get a sebae anemone, I want to know how hard it is to care for, I've heard they were for exports only, and some say they are good for beginners (I know that no anemone is for a beginner).

 

Anybody there?
