I read a few post about toxin from dying anemones. Is this for all types?
I have had a dying anemoe for 3 months now and is really just a shivled mess about the size of a dime.

After reading posts about dying anemones toxin killing off the tank, I got nervose and tryed to remove it, but boy is it still stuck to the rock. I know it's alive cause it move every once in awhile.

Any help on how to remove it ? Should I ?

The worries tend to come from large anemones that die. They turn into a pile of mush/particles. An anemone the size of a dime isn't "too big" of a worry.

I'm wondering if maybe your thread is referring to my posts? My anemone was about the size of a baseball, so yeah, it was a big one. Also, before it went, it wouldnt stay attached to anything, so I wouldnt worry too much unless that starts to happen.
Listen to mission, he's wise. ;)

If you have an anemone that will not let loose I either use a knife to cut the pedestal base from the rock or a Ice Cube on that area will cause then the let go of the foot hold.. Anemones do not belong in a community reef tank .

Direct a strong powerhead directly at it and give it 5-10 minutes, he/she will let loose.
