    i recently acquired a carpet anemone, it's about 6 inches in diameter now, i was just wondering how big it was actually going to get. it certainly is an attention grabber.

    Um, not to be mean, but if you have it in your 36 gallon with stock lighting, it will likely just die.

    Anemones need very high light. Metal Halides really. Some folks get away with VHO, or lots of PC, but not too many. Also, carpets need more light than say, a bubble tip anemone.

    In any case, a carpet would get too big for a 36 gallon. They get really huge! ;D
