I recently noticed this anemone and am wondering what it is. It is the size of a nickle and there are 2 smaller ones near by. Are they a nuisance or benign?

    Welcome to 3reef

I think it may be a majano. They can become a nuisance if you have high nutrients in the tank.

    Welcome to 3reef,

I think it maybe a majano as well. I would google "images of majano anemone". They can be quite attractive but they do spread.

Thanks for the welcome! I was hopeing they weren't a problem, but after reading what you have to say and doing a search, I believe they are majano.
