anemone?

    Any ideas..looks like an anemone of some kind. Growing quickly too

    Now that is a hard one. Based on it's size I am leaning towards a very attractive Majano, considered a pest anemone, but it could be a BTA. Keep a good eye on it.

    Agreed- difficult to tell. I would suggest moving the Candy Cane, though; regardless what species the nem may be, it will ultimately start stinging the polyps.

    It grew from scratch on candy tree. I got the candy about 4 month ago and it is slowly wilting. The nem seems to be inbed so cant see skeleton??

    Now I am even more confused. If you could make the anemone or coral close, lets see what it looks like closed. What ever it is might be stinging the Candy Cane.
