I have an angelfish in a 55G freshwater community tank - no other angels but several other fish. She laid eggs on my filter tube last night. Can another species of fish fertilize them? I read that if the eggs turn white (and a few of them have) that means they are fertilized. Is that true? What should I do?

It takes two to tango so if you've only got one angelfish, the eggs will not be fertilized.

If fertile...you may have some pretty bizzare baby fish! - ;D

Don't panic, other fish will take care of eggs.
