Another crab ID

    So who is this guy? i got two of them on live rock i got....

    it is in between the size of a quarter and nickle.

    The pictures very unclear but maybe an emerald or it could well be an unknown hitchhiker that is not usually collected for tanks.

    ya i thought a sally lightfoot too at first but now i dont think it has the colouration they normally would.

    not shore on what it is but dos not look like sally lightfoot or emerald crab to me.

    Check to see if the front pincers are pointed, Xanthid, stone crabs, look similar to that and grow quickly into uber crabs.

    I agree i had two the same & they were xanthid, stone crab to me.
    I think they are bad news......althou i left mine in my tank & they are bout the size of a 50p!
