    I seen this guy several times for about a blink of an eye and then it's gone, I finally got a pic of this elusive creature, is it a manits shrimp? sorry! I was extremely lucky to get this pic.

    I was thinking some kind of crab also, my first fear was mantis shrimp, but looking at some pics of the mantis, the guy in question is more round shape and very large claws in comparison to its overall size

    Looks like a Porcelain crab to me. A very cool hitchhiker to have!

    Porcelain Crab

    Not sure if you're having a hard time seeing it yourself or just not able to get a picture of it, but that's what a porcelain crab looks like. I had one in my 29 gallon nano, awesome looking creatures. It took a couple of days for mine to come out for me to see him. Try being as non-invasive to the tank for a couple of days to see if it gets a little more confident and comes out for a sure ID.

    Agreed with above. It looks like a crab in body structure, and the coloration fits for that porcelain crab.

    Thanks guys, thats him alright, a Porcelain Crab I have an Emerald Crab in there that I bought, are these guys going to get along OK?

    I think they should be fine since they have different feeding strategies.
