another RO/DI ?

    just bought my ro system and have well water, before it comes in the house and or the ro system i have a 25 micron sediment filter inline, i once used a 5 micron filter and it was slow coming out of the tap in just a couple of days or so, my ? is should i add another like say 10 micron filter or even 5 before it get to the ro or will it be ok with out it? thanks for your input on this.....

    I believe the first stage of most RO filters are 10 micron so I don't know that this would help. Good idea to have the 25 micron filter though.

    I think that by installing a in-line pre-filter before the R/O unit, it may affect the preformance of the unit. Most, if not all, R/O units have a pre-filter stage. You will end up spending more money in the end. You can always contact the company and ask them. My R/O unit comes with a .05 micron pre-filter. Luna
