I just read a book about letters from people heading to Oregon from Missouri in the early 1800s may be some of your relatives. It was a good book.

Sweet list... I'd like to add Watership Down by Richard Adams.

Anyone interested in Mental health perspective "When Rabbit Howls" by Truddi Chase (actually written by her "troops" (multiple personalities)) and "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" by Joanna Greenberg. Both good reads.

I am a HUGE C. Moore fan. My favorite books of his are Lamb and A Dirty Job. He's got a new book just coming out that I'm hoping to have a chance to read. Not too big on Hiaasen though. Have you ever read Tim Dorsey?

My favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird and Huckelberry Finn. In that order. I'm sure that my son appreciates that I like To Kill a Mockingbird better or his name would be Huck

Steinbeck was one of my first "loves". While I have been reading alot of "modern" authors lately, the classics were what got me hooked on reading. I even went so far as to read some Shakespeare....on purpose  Not that I have much time to read these days :D

I love to read.. I just wish I had more time in the day so I could do it more.. I was at my sisters in January and that was the first time in 2 years I got to read... I missed my flight and had to stay at the Columbus airport for almost 9 hours and had a 4 hour layover in GA.. so I bought a book and loved it!!! I forgot how much I love to read.. The wait flew by with my book.. I read "The Hour I First Believed" by Wally Lamb.. I still have some left to finish.. oh but it is SO good..
