luna, ive been reading your old posts on bryopsis - yikes. i've got about 12 snails and 8 hermits, and 2 fire shrimp. my new koran angel looks like it might be eating at the green hair thats in there. i've had 2 sea hares in the past - these ate all hair away and then died before i could get them to eat anything else.

Just to clarify. Fighting bryopsis is much different than fighting common green hair algae. A turbo snail isn't going to eat bryopsis but, will eat GHA.

i think ive got a combination of gha and bryopsis. My fuge has been up for about 2 wk now, with a chunk of chaeto in it. The chaeto hasn't gotten bigger yet, but the green hair already seems to be fading (optimism?). The darker frondy stuff (bryopsis i think by comparing photos) isn't changing at all. I think i'm going to try jacking up the magnesium levels to see if this helps.
