Dude that sucks and I am very sorry to hear that about anyone right now. There is some good in this some where. Just keep your chin up and don't let it get you down. Make some lemonade with those lemons. You will be in my thoughts and prayers my friend.

 

Layed off here but is fine by me rent is covered till may with savings so it looks like i will be getting alot of skiing in herewent today with about 8 inches of fresh powder. Nothing like being a ski bum for the holidays.

 

Everyday I go to work (Big 3 Automaker here) I worry about this. Layed off now until January 5th or should I say Down Time Paid Absence. So I have plenty of time to read, read and read some more as I put my system together...
Cheer up, Everything in life has a purpose, tho often it doesn't seem that way.

 

well this has been the best post so far, I really mean it when I say that I am happy too hear that every one is getting laid off. No before you start calling me an ******, let me explain that run my own business and I haven't worked for 3 weeks and have been sitting in my basement bummed out of my mind. The only thing that has kept me going was that my wife is working. I try to sell some stuff on ebay to buy my kids gifts and that was the pay pal post for me(i got robbed for short by some guy in washington). so now I sit here and post all day long and just try to keep my head on somthing other then this wonderfull year. My brother in law died in a motercycle accident on the 31 of oct.. My sisters new born baby was born on the first of nov. this is her fourth kid. I can think about how I can better my fish tanks and have to look forward to some thing when the new years hits. I pray for all of us in these crappy times and am hopfull for better ones. Best wishes to everyone...I know this holiday season is a busy (yet sort of depressing) one for everyone. We've gotten 6 MVA's (motor vehicle accident) this past month with 2 of them being fatal...it's tough. But you gotta keep your head up regardless!! Stay strong!! Have a happy and safe holiday!!

 

Hopefully, everyone will find a job soon.
