I am pretty sure they are copepods and they are very beneficial to your tank, don't worry about them :)

    +1 on them being copepods

they are a great food source for fish that browse the rockwork etc
in addition to being a valuable addition to your CUC by processing secondary waste
or small particles of primary waste in areas other things cannot get to]

I looked them up on google (pods) and someone took great pics with a nice digi cam. You guys are right, pods it is!!!! I'll post pics of the tank. My cam is not good enough to capture the pods as they are maybe equivalent to the size of a grain of salt. Thanks again fellas!

I was wondering why my royal Gramma wouldn't eat the pellet food. Well i caught him , what i thought to be banging into the glass, pecking at the glass eating pods like crazy! where do these guys come from? How did they form in the tank?

If you started your tank with live rock or live sand that is where they came from. ;)

    yep
and even if you started with base rock and dry sand
when you start adding corals, especially larger corals that come on bits of live rock - you get the start of your pod culture
