All reef octopus skimmers are great. Depending on how stocked your tank is, for the money, the 6" would give you a little more cushion. And if you check my thread in the sponsor section, they are on sale for cheaper than the link you provided ;)

I picked the 6" 150 for my 75g. I know I'm going to be a little on the heavy side for bioload. The 150 does take up a good bit of space in the sump - make sure to take a measurement or two to be sure it'll fit.

How loud or not something is - is subjective at best. Search for videos of that skimmer in action and listen. Personally, I think it's really quiet for a skimmer but that's my take.

    Good luck!

They make great skimmers, and have awesome reviews. The 4" will work fine for a light bio load, however if you plan on having a fair amount of fish, it would really benefit you to upgrade to the 6". Its not that much more, and if you have the space, will be worth it! I am also working on a 75 gallon display with a 40 gallon breeder sump, i decided to go with the 6" model. I cant wait to get it up and running!

I had the 4" on my old 90 and wish i would have went bigger. It was a great skimmer , I just messed up by trying to save a few bucks. Go with the 6" and you should be good.

Also I hear that the newer bubble blaster pumps are amazing, if you can find one with that and stay in budget , you may want to go that route.
