    I was thinking about creating a Steam account. Is it free? I also hear that it slows your computer down a lot. Is that true?

    Yeah its free although most games are P2P. It hasn't slowed my mac down IMO, its just slow to transmit to servers when playing.

    I have an account! Although Steam won't let mt add other people because I'm not a "full member". :p I don't remember what you need to add other player, username, or email?
