I just saw this movie tonight and I thought it was AWESOME!!! My girlfriend even liked it as well and she strongly dislikes that kind of movie. The visual effects were stunning. I think they took a lot of hints from saltwater creatures for the world of Pandora. There was one part early on where they were in a grove of oversized christmas tree worms and then there were some giant zoas. What is everyone else's thoughts on the movie, for those that have seen it?

I don't go to the movies much 'cause they come out on dvd so quick but this one looked like I might have to load up and go see it. Thanks for the review, just don't reveal too much :).

I saw it at the imax in 3d! All I can say is WOW!!!!! I am going to try to go see it again in 3d at the imax just for the experience of that again. It was a great flick and I never ever go to the movies. This one will have a mark on the way movies have changed over time. If you have the chance to see it try to see it in 3d!

I watched a bootleg of it yesterday at work . . . I liked it so much I plan to see it at least a couple times in theaters. Hopefully I can convince the wife how much fun it would be to go see it at an IMAX.

I heard that the guy who wrote it was sitting on the script for 10 years waiting for the right technology to come out to film it properly. I can't wait to see it! I was skeptical because the previews on TV seem to not do it justice. From what I've heard it was absolutely amazing, even though it was 3 hours long.
