I have just purchased the Apex system. When I set up the email I didn't receive any messages (Set up a gmx account) So I used telnet. Once I had logged in I typed cons, but before I could type in the next command (1 maild) I just got the following message:

    AquaController> cons

Also sometimes when I do an update via the browser, my base unit drops off the network and I have to pull the Aquabus cable to the energybar 8 out and insert it again to re connect.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Have you updated your firmware?

I did update my firmware after seeing your comment, but that didn't work. So I created an AOL account and that worked. For some reason GMX doesn't work for me.

When I tried to create an account it wouldn't let me, so I read further into the site and my isp's ip was blacklisted on one of the accounts on the list. So I got my son to create me an account from the UK. That worked and I could log in, but the email just bombed ou, I'm wondering if the underlying ip address is still catching me out.

Anyway bottom line is I managed to get it working through an AOL account, so all is good.

    Thanks again for you suggestion
