API Test Tubes

    Hi Guys,

    I remember reading a thread about the 5 ml markings on the API test tubes being off, so I tested mine with a syringe. Mine were also in fact off. I decided to contact API and received a very prompt response. Here is what it said:

    "the line on the test tube leaves a margin of error so you can either use the 5ml from the syringe or fill the tube to the line to receive an accurate reading on the test. The margin of error is taken into account when the reagents are added to make sure the results are correct."

    Just thought I would pass along the information since I couldn't find anything doing a search.
