Aptasia?

    The larger ones in the middle. I think i started out with only 1 like that, but now have a few. They're actually really beautiful, but i thought they might be Aptasia. I've had that particular rock of Zoo's in the tank for about 7 months.

    aptasia has long tenticals,and the button area is not that big. I think it is a large button polyp of some type.

    They are not Aiptasia but button polyps!!!

    It is a brown button polyp. Not aiptasia. Wheew. Dodged that bullet eh?

    Watch the button polyps though. They attached to a brain favites coral skeleton and have taken it over and killed part of the brain. They'll sneek up on ya if you don't keep an eye on them. I have to kalk them to keep them from offing the rest of the brain.
