    I have used a Turboflotor 1000 Classic in sump model for over 7 years now and it does its job well. They are a needlewheel type skimmer and use either a Rio or a better Ocean Runner 2700 recirculation pump.
    I have no complaints with mine and have actually owned three of them over the years.
