    Hi all,

Well I already have a humble old skimmer that isn't too bad, but to be honest I am looking for something with really good performance. My tank is 80 gallon and this will fit perfectly in my sump. Budget is fairly tight and the cost of the Ev-120 is really my limit. Unfortunately for me I live in the UK and our skimmer choice is limited to say the least, unless you're talking big bucks and end up with a Deltec or something similar!

So, my question is really what do people think of this skimmer, is it really worth the cash?

Ohh and if anyone knows a company (or sponsor) who can do a good deal with UK postage send me a PM (I have found it for $350 including shipping)....worth a punt I suppose ;D

I have a EV-180 (which I strongly recommend as you, most likely, will be upgrading to larger tank one day.

AquaC among best skimmers on market. Well made, well supported.

Unfortunately they come with a pretty hefty price tag...but you get what you pay for.

Let us know what you come up with.

    Good Luck!

They seem to be pretty good skimmers, but I also understand that a PM Bullet is also supposed to be good as well. The Ev-180 is about the same price as a Bullet-1, ohhh decisions decisions!

I'm a huge fan of AquaC EV as well. I wish I didn't get such a big one as it wont fit in my stand.

Actually I would totally trade down a size as I got it used from my local reef shop. :)
With iwaki pump for a great deal. I'm to lasy to put it in a new forum so if anyone reads this and is interested just PM him. I could use a EV-240. :)
