    Welcome to 3reef.

For a 150 Im not sure there's an aquafuge suitable in size. Also, Its set up as a saltwater refugium, not a wet/dry. I think your best option is to buy a a wet/dry and install it under the tank. If you don't want to install it many LFSs have people that will come do it for you. If its overly expensive check craigslist.

Id just buy an over flow kit and find a cheap 55 gallon tank and turn it into a wet/dry your self or just turn it into a sump with lots of carbon.

I have a HOB fuge for my 150G. I removed it after going under the tank filtration though. For freshwater, you can use it as a place for plants to grow, heck, it is a fuge after all hehe. But using it as a wet/dry, I don't think it can be done, it is not designed to trickle water over bio-media, it's made to cultivate plants and natural foods for the fishes.
