Updates over the next couple days!!

I've always been amazed by the beauty of saltwater tanks. In my nine years of freshwater fish experienced, I had always wanted to get into Saltwater. Because of my space limitations I was drawn towards Nanos, and their challenge. I stayed away from the all-in-one systems, because I didn't want to fiddle or clean chambers behind the tank you can't remove. So I bought an Orbit 80w PC, an AC70 and a Hydor 1, and saved a lot more money that way!

    So here's day 1

Thanks for the replies! Tank is actually almost 3 1/2 months old. I was posting on Nano-reef, but I like this site much better! Here's some more pics:

    Month 2 FTS

Month 3 with Algae Bloom! Bad LFS water.. bad reefer (me)! Must make own water

Most Current Pic. and a month after the last two pics. Hair algae was blooming like crazy! I solved it with my homemade water, Kalk Dosing to precipitate phosphates and coraline control :), New T5 lighting replacing my PC's, and two Turbo Snails later.. this is 2 days after all these changes. Remember those last pics were taken a month ago. My tank was much worse than the previous pics..

Just dripping 24oz of Kalk mix 1-2 times a week.. coraline is poppin outa the rockwork.. getting pink, red, and orange. Definately getting more zoas. Next year I'm upgrasing to a 40 gallon breeder
