Recently I inherited a nano tank. I basically have to get everything for it. Everything from bulbs to carbon. Since I've never had a nano tank before I have no idea what I need and don't need to get it up and running. Any suggestion/recomendations would be appreciated!

Why don't you start by telling us all the equipment you have, we need to know what you have to tell you what to get and where to go from there.

List all your stuff and then we'll help you out

Congrats on the new tank and Welcome to 3Reef!

As far as equipment all I have is a tank, hood, and stand. The hood holds two 27w PC bulbs (square pin).

You'll want a Skimmer, Powerhead, Sand and some Rock just to start.

There's a lot of equipment needed to have a saltwater tank, especially a nano.
Make sure you read into it alot and get as much info as you can before you begin. You've made the first step correctly(coming here), there's lots of info and people willing to help you out.

Does the aquapod have any sort of filtration system in the back? you may need to get a submersible pump like this one, Maxi Jet. Be sure you have some filters back there, I don't know specifically what is back there on the aquapods.

You'll want to start with a small, hardy fish first. After the cycle of course.

    Hope this helps
