I was looking at the AquaDyne Octopus 4000 and Neptune AquaController II. I was just wondering if anyone had and feedback on either of these?

As no one has responded I thought I would. I have no experience with them at all. And quite frankly they kinda scare me. For PH and ORP they are turning on and off devises I don't have so with out a CO2 injection unit and an ozoner I would see much use for it. But perhaps if I have a 125G like you I may need both and then I would go with the controller.
I my mind there is a lot out there that I would sooner spend my $$$ on

I've used both and hate both :D I'm in the process of getting a PLC (industrial controller) for my set-up. It's nothing like the hobby ones being sold, they're programming just simply suck IMO. I can't do what I want to do with them, so I moved to a more custom set-up. I found a guy who is trding me $2K+ in Seimens PLC controller and modules for rare frags that I have. Good deal for both of us ;) I'll post more when I get it into action. It'll definitly make the gearhores out there drool :D

Hey Gresham. I've got an Allen-Bradley micrologix PLC laying around that I'd like to use on my tank. What type of equipment are you using to get the PLC to get temp and pH values?

    Thanks!

I'm using plug in modules for that. My PLC can except up to 7 modules, of which I'm using three :D My temp is coverred by a module that can do 4 TC's with all kinds of compensation, etc. It samples like 60 times a second :D PH has a similar analog module.
