It's a nice looking unit but the LED's are outdated, these days they are making fixtures with 3 & 5 watt LEDs that will give you much better numbers than the ones advertised for this fixture which im including below.

    LED configuration: BridgeLux 1w/LED

Color: White and Blue mixed, White: 14000K(14000-20000k),

    Blue: 460nm

    Dimension: 15.75” x 8.38” x 2.80” Or 400X213X71 mm

Gross weight: 11 Pounds or 5kg

    2" depth - 1537 Par

    12" depth - 423 Par

    24" depth - 182 Par

Darn....I think I have a chance at getting them for $250 each new too!

But I dont want to get anything thats not up to par (no pun intended - kinda) ;D with what we really need.

If I buy LED's I want them to be the best for the money and really grow SPS, plus compare exactly, if not better to MH.

If you really want the best for your money, you will have to build it yourself ;)
none of these retail type fixtures can compete with making it yourself because you get better build quality for half the price and you can target the specific wavelengths you want.

    Great Information everyone.....thanks so much!

I am still on the fence though! Its so hard for me to commit to spend the money (the money almost is not the issue) its the proven growth/health/color of coral that means everything to me.

    K+ for everyone!
