    OK, So my Magfloat isnt working all that good with the thincker glass so I started looking around. I like the sounds of the Magnavore so I took a look around.

    Magnavore 8 Glass&Acrylic

    OMG, you must be kidding me.. Maybe if it was robotic and went around the tank by itself.

    OK, I'm done venting..

    As soon as your glass is thick enough to require neodymium rare-earth magnets, the price really jumps up.

    I use to think that was ridiculous to pay that much for a cleaner until I used one.....WOW :eek: I will never be without one again.

    haha wow, thats outrageous. I would rather stick with using a long algae scrubber and if that doesnt do the job, use a clean razor.

    I'd have a hard time spending $300 on a magnet to clean a fish tank. Just wanting to know the reasons why you like it so much?

    That's what I do. Old school. Takes a little time but there is no way of God's green earth I am going to spend that much money on something like that. I don't care if it is the best thing since sliced bread. One rag. One razor. Done. For under a dollar.
