    There are so many...it's difficult to tell for sure. I don't think emerald, but it does have that body shape. Check this site and see if you spot him:

    He does strongly resmble an emerald crab, from the overall shape, the striations running through his back, and the cupped claw tips. Of course the color is different, and my emerald has somewhat hairier legs but no hair at all elsewhere.

    i have one like this that came in on some acro. I was told by the seller that it was an acro crab, but i dont think it is.

    Take a look at that link I dropped above. look at the "Anathid Species" - it specifically says " Xanthid species found on Acropora corals" and the appear similar to Bioreef dude's picture.

    Ahh that will prob be the reason why that pirticular coral is dying then. I just thought it was my abilities killing it off.....

    Im quite annoyed with my self now, because i didnt think it was an acro crab to begin with. I've had several opportunities to get rid of it aswell and i've left it alone! Oh well, that pirticular acro is practacally dead, i guess i'll just catch the little bugger when i next see him, he's not really shy, last spotted in my filter box!!

    lmao not at u but with u this crab as been in crab jail for a month he was to young at the time for a good picture but i guess he stays in crab jail lol u guys r awsome!
