    well eventually the sand will settle definetly, but they will never stop stirring. They're actually freeing all the micro sand particles. They will kill your live sand bed.

    Funny that you mention that, I woke up yesterday with a puddle on my floor. Was my fault though because I was messing with the output valve after I did a water change. ::)

    I'm not convinced that the gobies are the sole cause of your cloudy water. I've kept a lot of sand sifting gobies and while they do stir up quite a bit of sediment, they have never clouded up the entire tank.

    Ya not the gobies if you ask me. It is an algae bloom. as O2 levels rise with the lights on the bloom becomes more active. Lights off no O2 bloom dies down. it will run it's course and die out.
