I saw a small orange wormish thing on the rock that my poyps are on. Once I turned on the lights it quickly darted into a hole in the rock. Could this do damage to my coral? What is it? What should I do?!?!:-[

Best to post a pic or try to find a similar picture on the net somewhere. Most likely it was a bristle worm and for the most part, depending on the size they are harmless.

They dont attack, they will most likely suck back into the rock, but if you ever have to take your rock out and put it into a bucket just be careful that you dont put your hand over the hole its in lol i now wear rubber gloves when moving stuff in my tank, i learned once, my hand was pretty swollen/numb but i got stung by multiples so was kind of worse

Yea I always wear stretchy latex- like gloves when handling any coral/rock. Thanks for the heads up!!
