Help. I have too many things going on with my Saltwater tank. In the medical world we always say if there is one problem, look for another. I am beginning to think the Aquatic World might be the same...
So within a few hours time I noticed what I believe to be Ich on a couple of fish, then my Xenia tanked  and I think I may also have a fish with Marine Velvet Disease. Never mind the fact that I have a coral beauty that has gone missing for the last six days! I have attached photos, in hope that someone will be able to assist me and my fish  Thanks!!

    PARAMETERS (important)
    Temperature: 78-79
    PH: 8.2-8.3
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: Currently between 25-50. Test is hard to read.
    Salinity: 1.23
    dKH/KH/Alkalinity: In target
    Magnesium: Unknown
    Calcium: Unknown
    Phosphate: In target
Test kits you own: Saltwater Master and many others
    Liquid or Strips: Both
    Brand Name:
    Are they Expired?: No

    Tank size? 55
    Estimated total system? 60
Reef, fish only or, freshwater? reef
Current inhabitants? What and how many? 1 small black clown, 1 small burgundy clown, 2 false ps, small blue tang, med purple tang, small mandrin goby, currently missing coral beauty

Soft corals, mushrooms, polyps, xenia, trumpet coral, brain coral.

Clean up crew? 1 peppermint, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 fire shrimp, numerous emerald crabs, 1 sandsifter star, numerous hermits and a couple snails
How long has your tank been set-up? 2 years
    Substrate. live sand
    Type?
    Depth? 2-3 inches depending
    Live rock? yes
    How much? 60 lbs
Did you recently add some? yes. Added 2 purple tipped hairy mushrooms on a live rock
    Filtration. wet/dry
    Type? 100 gal
    Protein skimmer? yes
Do you wet or dry skim? I guess I dont know. I have a protein skimmer that sits next to my wet dry system in the area that collects water after it flows through the bio balls.
Maintenance schedule for filtration? alternating filters every month
Drilled tank/hang on back overflow? yes
Sump/refugium. What's in it and how much? 3 gallons
    Macro? What kind?
    Lighting. Multiple on timer
    Lighting type?
    Age of bulbs? 2 years
    Feeding
What? spyro, krill, myosis shrimp, seaweed (variety on diff days), plankton
    How much? (2 frozen cubes)
    How often? 1x per day
    Water change schedule.
    How much? 20 gal
How often? every other week. Just had multiple changes over several days due to spike in nitrates into danger zone (100 range easy). It was dark and frightening. Suspect it might have been related to several things: Potential rotting dead coral beauty, xenia crash which might have all been precipitated by bizarre skimmer incident that I cannot explain. Came into room. Saw a large amount of sediment shooting out of pump directly into tank. Opened cabinet and saw massive amounts of foam coming out of skimmer, over top and into pump catch. Almost like skimmer was turned up full blast. But, it was not. Even keeping skimmer on lowest setting resulted in massive amount of foam. I had to turn it off completely for a couple hours while the foam settled.
What salt brand? High quality, cannot recall name
Water source? treated tap, but used specialty treated water from saltwater store after the "skimmer incident"
Additives/supplements used? Iodine, Reef Vital, marine alk buffer, now using marine max and garlic for suspected parasites
Do you have a ground probe? No
What kind of flow does your tank have? medium current

You got some work to do.
Ich on the tang, but that is ok.
I'd get that marine velvet or whatever you can positively identify that on the maroon clownfish treated asap.
I don't know what to tell you about the xenia.
Are you keeping your water parameters stable and at suitable levels?

Currently, the water parameters are stable and at suitable levels.
I am nervous about searching for the CB; I fear that disturbing all the soft coral will result in additional fish stress and unbalance the levels. Any thoughts.

from what I read, it seems to me your nitrates are too high and you need to cut back feeding to like 1 cube every other day. it'll help cut back your nitrates too.

your bulbs are about 2 years old? time to change them.

also, take the bio balls(nitrate factories) and throw them out and put some chaeto in the spot where the balls were. put a light over that and viola(it'll help eat up excess nutrients too)

might want to get a uv filter for the ick/mv.

definitely do a few 10-15 gallon water changes every other day, just try to not stress the fish more than they are. Ich and mv are usually brought on by stress.

has your cb hidden before? think maybe he got eaten by the clean up crew?

you have corals and you don't test Mg or Ca?
    hope this helps:)

well seen some of the problems that you are having you know the problem like the missing beauty but others problems is your lighting is 2 years old and maybe could be a part of xiana melting but most likely from high nitrates. reduce nitrates and problems should start to clear up. feeding is a bit much 2 cube a day is high. Maybe one cube and some in morning and some in eave(some may say this is high too). new mushrooms maybe cause of ick also. I am usualy very carefull when adding new rock on several occasions I have had a rock start a ick attack. I would check place that sold you rock and see if any tank mates have ick. next time qt rock before adding. 4 to 6 week should help. Your water change may be too much at a time alos I would be doing 10 to 5 gal per change. Too many changes can lead to more cycling. This is just a start but for the most parts keep nitrates down and I would do so more natural with algaes and such.

If you have a quarantine tank, get the maroon in there asap. You need to treat with copper sulfate. If left untreated, the parasite will drop off the fish and enter a reproductive stage. Then the new 'babies' will attach to another fish. They liquify portions of the scales and gills, ultimately resulting in death. It is important to know what you Ca and Mg levels are. Do you not have a test kit for them? Your nitrates are high, especially for a reef tank. I would do a water change, do you use RO/DI water? You should also not dose for anything you don't test for, particularly iodine, it can be very dangerous. You could try one of those reef safe ich treatments.

The problem is we really do not know how old much of anything is in this tank. We recently purchased it from a guy that could not afford to keep it any longer. The process took a couple of days to prep and several hours over at our house for final set up. The fish where in route approximately 30-40 minutes. He did lose a flame angel in the process of the move, due to stress. We have had the tank for about two months now.
