Astrea Snail Killer!!

This is the second Astrea Snail this guy has killed to rob his shell!!! Should I add empty shells for my hermits? Where can I get them? Thanks!

 

yea add shells saltwaterfish.com selss empty shells or you can try your lfs if they have any rarely tho.

 

I added some when i had that problem...my lfs has a ton of them... thats were i got mine from..

That is a common occurence, especially with blue-leg crabs(hermits). They do that in their search for a larger shell to call home!
Check your local pet shop!

 

Nice picture. I've kept lefthanded hermits in the past and they can get pretty big so make sure you get a variety of shell sizes for that bugger

 

Yeah, these guys get pretty big. I also have a few of these ones, seem to be a lot less agressive:
