So with this one, how do you plug in the pump?

Spectrapure offers a number of different options from inexpensive to elaborate. They don't seem to promote them as much as their RO/DI systems but they are high quality and built in their own facility. I use the UPLC-II and its much like the Tunze but I feel is better.

I am so cheap I use IV tubing and set the drip rate.. It works awesome and was free.. I know its not super technology or anything and sometimes I may have to add a little extra but it keeps my salinity stable... Here's a pic from my pico build....

    Three questions:

    1. Do you plan on topping off with RO/DI water?

    2. Can you plumb the RO/DI unit directly to your tank?

    3. Can you fit a float valve in your evaporation chamber?

    1. I use RO water from a fill-up station that has a UV sterilizer on it too. It's been working good so far

    2. Don't have one.

    3. No, I don't think a float valve will fit, dimensions are 5.75" x 3.5". So if one can fit in a box that size, then I guess it will fit.
