ATO pumps questions

hello everyone i just got my ATO system about to put it in now and.


i just went out to buy a pump.

but now i'm thinking i can not use it.

this is what i got.

yea, that is an AIR pump. im thinking you were looking for an AQUALIFTER?

and yes, what you bought will not work unless you are using air to pressureize your top off container and force the water thru the tube.

 

dammit what kind of pump should i be looking for.

 

a water pump...look at lowes or home depot in the pond supplies...u just need a little one...u could go to ur LFS too..they probablyhave them

 

if you are buying online, an aqualifter will work very well. that is what I use.

It is called 'Aqualifter"
