ATS Sump systems

    I have made a 29G sump for my 55 FOWLER (for now) tank. I attempted to grow corals, and add snails but they died. I am having phosphate issues. Anyway, I have set up an algae turf scrubber, and HOB coralife 65 skimmer. I was curious to see other people with an ATS and their setup's.

    I am rethinking my'n and possibly adding a filter sock, to catch the debris coming into the sump tank. The bottom of my sump has some detritus on it, and with the tank sitting on the floor i can not siphon it out. Just wanted to get some opinions, or succsessful sumps people have created.

    Picture is when i first set it up. There is my HOB skimmer, 2 lights now.
