No one can answer that for you. You have to dose, test. Dose, test. If your levels rise than obviously you're dosing too much. If they fall then you're not doing enough. If they stay the same then you're right on target.

So like I've said, dose. Then test and see what's being used and adjust accordingly to maintain. No one can possibly tell you that dosing 60ml every day in your tank is going to keep your levels the same.

Any recommendations, should I dose everyother day? All of our corals are thriving...We have Green Birdsnest Acropora that have quadrupled in size in the past 2 months, 2 open brains that have doubled in size, short tentacled plate that has doubled in size, and I can continue...All of the corals continue to grow...

Add a clam or a couple SPS and keep dosing the same.

Just a thought. Good excuse to get some more stuff for the tank.

One other note, while dosing the alkalinity buffer this morning instead of the normal clouding for a few seconds and then the water becoming clear the clouding also included solid particles that took a little more time to disolve

i dose daily, what you need to pay attention to is the consumption rate of the tank, and dose accordingly. as far as your dKH its actually a little low a balanced ratio for 4.6 meq/L would be Ca 450. every tank is different as far as the consumption rate. one word of advise though, do not exceed the maufactures specifications. if you reach the limit of them, then you need to find a different source of adding what you need.

my sps dominated tank is running a CO2 reactor, kalk, and liquid dose to keep up with the demands.

as stated before test then dose, to piggy back on that test every other day (48 hours) to get a better image of whats going on.

the solid particles are a sign something is not right as far as a balance is concerned. so be carefull.

your obviously doing something right since your growth rates are what they are. so dont do any drastic changes.

Solid particles tell me that something is precipitating. Thats not good. You might be reaching a level of super saturation. So much that the Calc is begining to precipitate into the water column.

Thanks Scott, that is what I thought as well. But yesterday and this morning the parameters are back to normal Alk is 2.9 meq/l and Calcium is at 450...8)..

Now, I just checked one of our quarantine tanks which is currently housing just a Spotted Hawk and I am getting a ready of 7.8 ph and alkalinity is 2.9 meq/l..What to do??
